Glitter. Made from plants,
Our biodegradable guilt-free glitter helps humans shine brighter while being conscious caretakers of our planet.
We absolutely love glitter. It is small in physical size, but hugely powerful in the magic it brings. A tiny bit of sparkle can create immense joy: it invites our inner child out to play; it raises our collective energy; it can light up a whole room!
But we have felt guilty before for indulging in some sparkly fun - knowing that those teeny tiny bits of plastic would be around forever, ending up in the ocean and polluting our marine ecosystem.
GLITTEREVOLUTION was born to bridge the inner split between ecstatic glitter lovers and guilt-ridden Earth lovers. (You can read about the exact moment this business was conceived here.)
We are a conscious business devoted to providing an Earth-safe alternative to traditional plastic glitter. We want to see to it that people can enjoy all the sparkle, with zero guilt. Please help us share the plant-based glitter love!
Hand Mixed with LOVE
Partner for Clean Oceans
Our glitter is made from sustainably sourced plant cellulose derived from eucalyptus trees. Our products are vegan friendly and cruelty free. We lovingly mix and package all of our unique biodegradable glitter blends by hand in California.
There's no plastic in our glitter, and we do not put our glitter in plastic. In fact, we are the ONLY eco-glitter company that's been 100% committed to plastic-free packaging since day one. Eco impact guides every decision in our business.
Our business exists for a purpose, not just for profits. So we contribute a percentage of our sales to cause partner 5 Gyres Institute, a research and education non-profit dedicated to fighting the crisis of ocean plastic pollution.
OUR CAUSE: PROTECTING OUR OCEANS
The ocean is by far the world's biggest and most diverse ecosystem, with much of its magic and mystery still as yet undiscovered. Unfortunately, a lot of our plastic trash ends up in huge garbage patches in the ocean, with untold impact on marine life and our food chain.
We want to promote the adoption of eco-responsible alternatives to single-use plastic products (e.g., traditional PET-based glitter!) and help fund scientific research needed to help us to figure out how to clean up the mess we've made.
